Guidance and counselling cell
The Guidance and Counselling Cell will function in co-ordination with the Placement Cell to explore career steering connected issues. The cell ensures to help students develop their full potential, psychological immunity, and skills to thrive in challenging situations of life.
Objectives
- Coping with behavioral and emotional problems impacting the normal functioning of an individual
- Individual Counselling
- Dealing with challenging life circumstances
- Identifying underlying reasons for behavioural, academic and emotional problems through psychological testing.
- Identifying unusual behaviours at an early stage and helping the students express their emotions in a healthy, positive way.
- Enabling people to develop new ways of relating with one another
- Disseminating information on courses, careers, professions and specialized studies in India and abroad
- Organizing Seminars and Workshop on Soft Skills, Communication Skills etc.
- Counselling will help individuals develop a better understanding of themselves and their emotions, which can lead to improved mental health and well-being.
